    Can I fix a mistake in the text?

    Yes. Use the white-out tool to cover the mistake, then use the text tool to type the correction on top. The tool flattens your edits into the PDF when you save.

    Can I edit the existing text directly?

    This editor adds new content on top of the page (text, shapes, drawings, images) and can white-out existing content. It does not re-flow the original typed text. To turn a PDF into an editable Word document, use PDF to Word.

    Is white-out safe for hiding sensitive data?

    White-out visually covers content, which is fine for tidying up a document. For true redaction of confidential data, remove the underlying content first — a visual cover can sometimes still be extracted.
