Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
PDFcraft is built around a simple promise: your files stay on your device. This policy explains, in plain language, what we do and do not collect.
Your files are never uploaded
Every PDF tool on this site runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript. When you open, merge, split, convert, or edit a file, that processing happens on your own device. The file contents are never sent to us or any server. We cannot see your files, we do not store them, and we could not retrieve them even if asked.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account, name, or email address to use the tools.
- We do not upload, copy, or store the documents you process.
- We do not sell or share personal data โ because we do not collect it.
Analytics
If we use website analytics, we use a privacy-friendly, cookieless service that measures aggregate page views only (such as which tools are popular). It does not track you across other websites and does not build an advertising profile of you.
Cookies
The client-side tools need no cookies to function. Your browser may store a small local preference (for example, your choice of light or dark mode) on your own device. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Server-based tools
A small number of features (such as converting PDF to Word) are technically impossible to run fully in the browser and require a server. These are not yet available. When they launch, any file you send for those specific tools will be processed and then automatically deleted shortly after, and this policy will be updated to describe exactly how.
