App Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
This policy covers the PDF-I-LOVE mobile app for Android and iPhone. The website has its own Privacy Policy. In short: the app processes your documents entirely on your phone, never uploads them, and has no accounts, ads or tracking.
Who is responsible for your data
The app is published by Electuni LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA (“we”), the data controller for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”, or write to us at the address above.
Your files stay on your phone
- Every tool runs on your device. PDFs and images you choose are read only to do the task you asked for (for example merging or converting). They are never sent to us or anyone else, and we cannot see, store or retrieve them.
- Results are saved in the app’s private storage on your phone (“My Files”) and stay there until you delete them or uninstall the app. Your original files are never changed.
- Files shared into the app from other apps are copied into the app’s private temporary storage so they can be processed, and are removed automatically.
- Backups. On Android the app opts out of cloud backup, so your files stay on the phone. On iPhone, files in the app may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups if you have backups turned on; those backups belong to you, not to us.
- Files leave your phone only when you choose to share or open them in another app.
Camera and photos
The camera is used only when you tap “Scan a page”. Your photo library is accessed only through the system photo picker when you choose images, so the app sees only the photos you select. Photos are turned into PDFs on your phone and are not sent anywhere.
Subscriptions (Pro)
The app is free to use with a daily limit, and offers an optional Pro subscription.
- Payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your card or payment details.
- To check whether Pro is active, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc. (USA). RevenueCat receives a random, anonymous app user ID, your purchase and subscription records from the store, your device platform, app version, store country, and your IP address as part of the connection. It does not receive your name, email address or files.
- We use this only to give you the features you paid for, restore purchases, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Purchase records are kept for as long as the law requires.
RevenueCat’s practices are described in its privacy policy; Google’s and Apple’s in theirs.
What else the app stores
The app keeps a small file on your phone with your settings and how many free tasks you have used today. It never leaves your device.
We do not collect analytics, show ads, use advertising IDs, track you across apps or websites, or sell or share your personal data. Apart from the subscription check above, the app does not connect to the internet.
Why we may process your data (legal bases)
- Verifying and restoring your subscription: performing our contract with you.
- Keeping purchase records: legal obligation.
- Answering your messages: performing our service for you.
Deleting your data
- Delete any file in the app’s My Files tab, or uninstall the app to remove everything it stored.
- To delete the anonymous subscription record held by RevenueCat, send a request through the contact form (“Privacy or data request”). Records that Google or Apple keep about your purchases are covered by their policies.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU and UK, or the CCPA in California), you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, or receive a copy of it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Use the contact form; we answer within 30 days and will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
The app is a general productivity tool. It is not directed at children under 13 (under 16 in the EU), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change, we will update the date above and tell you in the app before the change takes effect.
