Common questions

Where is my file after I save it?

In your Downloads folder, like any other download. A green message under the tool tells you the file name, and its Download again button saves another copy if you can’t find it. Your original file is never changed.

Is my file uploaded?

Every tool says so at the top of its page. On your device means the file never leaves your computer or phone. Uses our server means it is uploaded over an encrypted connection, converted, and deleted within 1 hour. How we handle files

Does it cost anything? Do I need an account?

No account is needed, and every tool on this site is free to use today.

The tool says my PDF is locked

The PDF has a password. Open it in a PDF reader that knows the password, save or print it as a new PDF without the password, and use that copy.

Something went wrong

Press Start over and try once more. If it still fails, send us a message: tell us which tool, your device and browser, and what happened. We usually reply within 2 working days.

The text is too small to read

Zoom in with Ctrl and + (⌘ and + on a Mac), or pinch on a phone. Every page works when zoomed in.
